Media Internship Opportunities for Native Youth

Honor Nation and WCCO are proud to announce internships for Native American youth

at the WCCO studios located in Minneapolis Minnesota area. This internship opportunity

is extended to Native American students in the Junior and Senior year of high school and

extending through to four years of college. The program is being facilitated through the

Emma Bowen Foundation. This program may available to Natives in other cities as well.

In spite of the past difficulties between Honor Nation and WCCO Channel 4, Both

entities look forward to seeing Native youth grow in opportunity and experience.

With the axiom "Actions speak louder than words" in mind, I personally express my

gratitude to CBS and The Emma Bowen Foundation for the inclusion of our Native

American youth in this mentorship program.

CBS has asked the Emma Bowen Foundation to develop two programs similar to the one initiated in Minneapolis. These two programs are to be instituted in Oklahoma City OK and Seattle -Renton Washington area. These programs are similar to the one here in Minneapolis, partial enrollment will be specific to Native Americans.
